Balveer Singh is an IndiaAI PhD Fellow under the supervision of Dr. Abhinav Kumar at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering (sAIDE), IIT Ropar. He received his B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, followed by an M.E. in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, where his research focused on visual SLAM and computer vision. He also worked as a Software Development Intern at IIT Bombay, contributing to AI-driven web applications and research software. His current research lies at the intersection of embodied AI, computer vision, and robotics, with a focus on developing intelligent robotic systems for industrial waste segregation using Vision-Language-Action (VLA) models. Alongside his research, he contributes to the development and maintenance of the sAIDE website and enjoys building scalable AI-powered applications, robotics systems, and open-source tools.

Hi, I'm Parv Singla, an undergraduate pursuing a B.Tech in Artificial Intelligence and Data Engineering at IIT Ropar. I enjoy building and breaking things that force me to learn. Sometimes that's a simple web app; other times it's an AI project that's far more ambitious than my experience. Either way, I believe the fastest way to grow is to build first and figure things out along the way. I'm deeply interested in Emotion AI and Hybrid Intelligence, and I hope to build AI systems that work alongside humans rather than replacing them—systems that make people more capable, creative, productive and accelerate humanity's growth to its highest potential.
